This paper will give insight on work made by accredited high-voltage laboratory inside live work training center during past 5 years. The aim of developing own testing laboratory that eventually became independent and recognized by Croatian Accreditation Agency (HAA), member of European Accreditation (EA) has showed that quality and excellence in live work equipment testing can be improved and even integrated within live work training process. Live work trainees now have unique opportunity to participate as watchers in tests made on live work equipment and understand better the importance of regular inspections and good maintenance of LW equipment.
